The philanthropic works of Prince Lawrence Ezeh of Mburubu

My father once told me that "Ajaa ike na nke o kere, o kee ozo" . He also told me that the word, "Ya dikwara gi na mma" will always affect ones life positively. On this note, I wish to thank Prince Lawrence Ezeh, the son of the traditional ruler of Mburubu, a town in Nkanu east local government area of Enugu state, the government are not aware of our existence, and successive governments has abandoned this road and these surrounding communities to their fate, but we are not going to forget ourselves. We might have to resort to using our own money to build our own roads now, while other communities in Enugu state get their own roads built by the government. The injustice of the whole process is not lost on the people of Nkanu east, who cannot boast of any government presence. Nomeh, Mburubu, Nkerefi and many other Nkanu east towns have been forgotten by the government. Posterity will not fail to dig up this bit of our history when the time comes. Once again, we thank you Prince Lawrence Ezeh using your money to grade our road even as the government cannot. O ga adiri gi mma. (From the people of Nomeh-Unateze)

The "Ashewo bed" loading

Funny name abi? lol..... But this is a loading trick being practiced by tipper drivers and sand suppliers everywhere, they agree to supply you a load of sand and then they go to the loading point and load only 3/4 of your expected quantity. So many people might not be around when the sand will be dropped at the site, or swallow the flimsy excuse that the sand shrunk while they were passing on rough road and gallops sank the sand to reduce the level.... story for the gods.......

The amazing rice fields of Nomeh Unateze

Enugu state is blessed, so blessed that we are taking our blessings for granted. Imagine having a rice producing community hidden into obscurity and making sure successive governments ignore the potentials of the place just because some people think they have all the power to make decisions that only them can understand. This is the sad story of Nomeh Unateze in Nkanu East local government where good quality local rice is growing like grass, but where the government does not even know, or care. How then can we be paying lip service to our agricultural drive, or our promise to feed our people with our home grown resources? Sometimes, I wonder if we are serious as a people.

The road to Umuguma-Owerri west

This road is causing me some major problems, imagine taking cement, sand and other materials through this road which is completely submerged in water? I call on the authorities to intervene and do some serious work on this road. I also saw heavy duty bulldozers and payloaders doing the drains along this road, but the level of the road is too low, hence the collection of flood water at this point in the road.
