Ike Ekweremmadu flags off a new road in Enugu state
Today, the deputy president of the senate, Ike Ekweremmadu flags off the construction of a brand new road to link the communities under his senatorial district and other parts of Enugu state. The contract, which has been started by Arab Contractors, will see the new road stretching from Nnenwe to Nomeh Unateze, Oduma, Mburubu and Nara Unateze.
It will be recalled that some parts of Enugu state has been experiencing serious neglect as the present government seems to be avoiding starting up projects in such localities. More pictures at out next post.

Onitsha and the housing revolution
The city of Onitsha had witnessed the fastest speed of urban housing development in Nigeria from 1970. Its common to see medium high rise apartment built by individual effort across the eastern part of Nigeria, especially in Onitsha. The city is a commercial setting on the verve of the River Niger, has a port and the largest trading market in the whole of West Africa.

This laboratory was recently renovated by a team of professionals of Ozalla native, who led the way to renovate this dilapidated science laboratory abandoned by government for more than 30 years.

Let us continue our drive along the Garden avenue, we now speed past Union bank, past CBN quarters and up until the rail line, take a look up the Polo park mall and the ferris wheel, drive up there and look left, see the shopping mall and still move on, past the GTC junction, the old IMT, now, ESCET, move past the Pentagon shopping outlet and head to the front of the museum, New Berries beckons but we drive past and head towards the round about, do we head straight along or turn right..........?
