We at Tigerkenn Homes have been in the forefront of building services delivery for the past 12 years. Many of our new and intending clients and customers always ask us how they can engage with us and get a detailed walkthrough of our services when it comes to building a new house.
We have decided to simplify the process by explaining to our clients, the best way we can attend to their needs faster, for a flawless start to their projects. The processes are described below.
1. How to contact us.
To contact us, a client should choose any one of the many channels of communication we have opened to the general public to reach out to us. You can reach us by phone call, email services, WhatsApp messages, or leaving a message in any of our online handles on Twitter (X), Nairaland, Blogger, or any other channels where we feature. Usually, we reply our messages to acknowledge receipt of your contact messages, and this sets up the second stage.
2. Provide us with your brief.
Your brief can come in the form of a detailed explanation of the work you want us to do for you, for simple works, we can gave a verbal discussion. For those who want lands or houses, we will request you to provide us with an address where we can send you pictures and details of the lands and houses available, together with their costs.
But for those who want us to help them erect new buildings, we will request they send us detailed building plan(s). For those who dont have building plans, we will go to the next stage.
3. Contacting our in-house architect
We have an architect who have always been working with us at Tigerkenn Homes. Prospective clients will be asked to brief our architects. They will be led through a variety of building designs that match the size they have in mind, the design and the finish standards they desire. Our clients are expected to pay for their building plans and have it produced on their names, after the sizes of the land has been taken into consideration. Please note that in some circumstances, the architect will need to inspect the land, and see things for himself. Things that needs to be achieved during a physical site inspection is the size and topography of the land, the nearness to other buildings, slope, and road setbacks.
4. Costing your building.
When the architect is done with your building plans, we can then start the process of costing your building. We usually attach building costs from our experience of building same types of buildings. In extreme cases, we will request clients to speak to quantity surveyors who will work out likely building costs that will guide both the client and builders on how to finance the project. The client is also expected to pay for the external quantity survey.
5. We work in stages.
We will need to look at your building plans, then work out with you, how many stages of the project we can split the work. For example, if we are building a duplex of two floors for you, we will divide the building stages as follows;
Stage 1. Foundation and DPC
Stage 2. Ground floor block walls
Stage 3. Decking slab
Stage 4. First floor block walls
Stage 5. Parapet and roofing
We expect to collect payment in stages. When we get paid for the full estimate for the first stage, we immediately move into site and start work. We expect to be paid for the second stage as we approach 90% of the works involved in the first stage. This is to allow us plan our building materials procurement and be ready for the subsequent stages even as we are rounding off all works at the first stage.
6. Harmonious working relationships
We thrive on the number of clients we gave delivered complete building services to. As such we always try to work with our clients and their families in such a way that everyone will be satisfied with the processes involved in the construction process. We have very experienced workers, and we get better with each project we embark on. We aim to complete more projects, and add same to the number of completed projects we have.
Thank you for contacting us.
At Tigerkenn Homes, PERFECTION IS OUR GOAL, EXCELLENCE WILL BE TOLERATED.
