I am glad the culture of planting flowers and trees is becoming a tradition in Nigeria. Although only the rich and educated seem to know the aesthetic and health value of plants and flowers in one's immediate environment, it is heartening to learn that many more Nigerian homes now list flower planting among their priorities of things to do around their home.
