Of course the signpost is very clear, they want only players and officials of Rangers international football club to be the only people making use of the training pitch located at the heart of Independence layout. But there is a problem here, Rangers are no longer alone in this training haven.
The city of Enugu has witnessed a land allocation extravaganza where the government officials continues to allocate and dispose of plum pieces of strategically located lands. So it was not a surprise when they pounced on the lands at around the training ground of Rangers international football club and all the adjourning buildings and shared/built beautiful houses on the lands.
Rangers are no longer alone here, and I am sure the intrusion will not be the best for a team trying to concentrate and play good soccer, I hope this is not the reason the Enugu based football club has been in continuous decline for some years now?
