According to information made available to newsmen yesterday, Governor Peter Mba of Enugu state has concluded plans to flag off the construction of rural roads in Nkanu West local government area.
This is in fulfilment of his administration's campaign promises made to the people of Nkanu West in 2022. The roads to be constructed include these;
1. Amodu - Akpugo road 9.3km
2. Amagu - Attakwu - Akegbe Ugwu - Akpasha road 5km
3. Obuoffia - Obeaghu - Akegbe Ugwu road 3.5km
We expect that these road projects will be done with best practices. We are expecting to see the following, wider roads, good drainage channels, road shoulders, culverts and good road markings. We will keep updating our readers with more information as they emerge.
