Governor Peter Mba to construct rural community roads in Nkanu East local government area.
According to information made available to newsmen yesterday, Governor Peter Mba of Enugu state has concluded plans to flag off the construction of rural roads in Nkanu East local government area.
This is in fulfilment of his administration's campaign promises made to the people of Nkanu east in 2022. The roads to be constructed include these;
1. Nara - Mburubu - Nomeh road (with 2 bridges) 12.9km
2. Nomeh - Oduma road 7km
3. Mburubu - Nkerefi road 7.2km
4. Nara - Nkerefi road 9km
5. Amagunze - Uhuokpara - Ugbawka road (1 bridge) 9.7km
6. Akpawfu - Amagunze road 8.67km
7. Isiogbo Nara - Isu road 6.90km
We expect that these road projects will be done with best practices. We are expecting to see the following, wider roads, good drainage channels, road shoulders, culverts and good road markings. We will keep updating our readers with more information as they emerge.
