I think it will be tough appointing any notable members of the PDP into the incoming federal cabinet of the APC in the next political dispensation. Which brings me to the point of examining the chances of people like Sullivan Chime, outgoing governor of Enugu state and his future political career.
Since Sullivan has been punched out of the senatorial race by the more muscular Ike Ekweremmadu for the Enugu west senatorial slot, rumors had it then that the outgoing president, Goodluck Jonathan had promised to give a plum ministerial appointment to Chime as a condition for him to cede the senatorial ticket to Ekweremmadu. Now, the dynamics has suddenly changed, and the horse has thrown its rider.

What then becomes of our handsome soon-to-become-ex-governor? I suggest he floats a construction company ASAP.
