Launched by Willie Obiano?
I understand, he meant to say he launched this project, which means to say he started it, but is this really necessary? Is he afraid that he might not complete this project hence he is rushing to "mark" it as a sign to future generations that he has something to do with this great construction work?
If not he should have gone ahead to build and complete this giant project and then build a plaque to commission it, if he so feels strongly about having his name in the public view. We need strong institutions in government, not strong people. For me, government must be seen, not heard. But what do I know....lol.....

I hope he strides to complete it no matter what. It is a worthy legacy. Besides if he doesn't a future person may just plaster over that engravement and seal it lol...
ReplyDeleteTrue, another governor will just come in and plaster over this plaque and claim the project. But I think they are just afraid for nothing, we all know who did what, and when.
