A comparison between Polystyrene, Pre cast and Concrete parapet fascia

From a construction standpoint, the parapet made with polystyrene materials are preferred to some other types because of a few reasons. Firstly, the polystyrene parapet is a newer technology, which makes it really appealing to modern day home owners who are looking for alternatives to the traditional cement and concrete pattern of building homes. The polystyrene is a different material made of lighter plastic. Because of the very light weight of the polystyrene parapet, it is a better material to use in houses where weight will be a problem. There are lands with low soil bearing capacity, which will mean that the less weight on the land, the better. This is a place we can recommend the polystyrene parapet. However there is the pre cast parapet, which is more costly to do that the polystyrene parapet, but a lot tougher because of the way it was made. The external she'll is cast in a cement/sand mix and cast on the ground before being lifted up and fixed on the top of the house. The pre cast parapet is made using some cement, and is even joined by the use of cement. The beam of the pre cast parapet is made with reinforced concrete. The concrete parapet is heavier, takes more time to construct because this is the only type that involves a wooden formwork even before the iron reinforcement is placed on the inside of the wood, the concrete parapet got its name because it's cast in-situ, the cast is left to dry and then the wooden formwork is removed to reveal the parapet. The concrete parapet is usually the costliest of the three methods described here. Different styles and shapes are made from all of the methods I have described above, but you can be a little bit more creative with the pre cast parapet.
