Enugu and the abandoned coal industry
This is the Oneama coal mine found at Iva valley in Enugu, built by the British colonial masters. This location has a very high deposit of coal under the surface of the ground
We wish this country will be restructured to allow every state or region to control and exploit the resources that are found in their regions. This would have enabled the good people of Igboland to harness the natural deposits of coal in their domain to make great developmental strides in the region. This mineral deposit is capable of supplying enough energy to power the electrification of the whole region and even remain for exports.
