Guinness Plc and their proposed factory site at Ninth mile

Look at the fenced land with the walls painted pale green,  this is the space previously reserved for Guinness Nig. Plc for the construction of a new factory site at Ninth mile corner, Enugu state.  But this land has been unused by the company owing to some dispute involving the community that owns the land. I even hear the case is in court.

But we know Ninth mile to be a place very favourable for the making of bottled drinks due to the availability of good water in the ground.  There is an ongoing rumour that the makers of La casera are bidding to buy this land from the community,  and build their factory for the production of drinks.

Ninth mile is the home of drinks,  with Coca Cola,  7up, Aqua Rapha and Nigerian breweries all operating profitably there.
